How Much Wine Do You Need for Your Wedding?

Determining the quantity of wine needed for your wedding can be challenging. Here’s a helpful guideline to get you started:

• Champagne or Sparkling Wine for Toasts: Plan for one glass per guest. A standard bottle of champagne or sparkling wine contains about six glasses. For 100 guests, you’ll need approximately 17 bottles.
• White and Red Wine for the Reception: As a general rule, you can expect each guest to consume about half a bottle of wine during the reception. If you have 100 guests, plan for around 50 bottles of wine. It’s a good idea to have a balanced mix of red and white wine, considering the season and your menu.
• Additional Considerations: Don’t forget to account for other beverages your guests might enjoy, such as cocktails, beer, or non-alcoholic options.
