Les Caves de Richemer can be found between the Mediterranean sea and Etang de Thau lagoons on the coast of the Southern Languedoc. The Co-op vineyards are located outside the traditional Picpoul de Pinet appellation, where the spelling of the grape is ‘Picpoul’ on the wine label. Here at Les Caves de Richemer they use the alternative spelling of “Piquepoul”. That’s where the alternatives end, this is a great tasting Piquepoul, with bright citrus fruit character and a broad green apple and stone fruit palate. A classic variety for seafood and shellfish.
